Mr Knight is a highly experienced Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon and the Medical Director of the Spinal Foundation since 1994. He has pioneered aware state endoscopic surgery and promulgated this globally. His scientific training has led to many publications on the origin of spinal and referred pain, “keyhole” endoscopic Cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar surgery. He has a “Mechanical” bent having developed many new instrument systems and is currently involved in an Artificial Intelligence programme analysing spinal MRI scans and radiology at Kingston University, London.
Mr Knight is the innovator of Endoscopic Foraminoplasty and Cluneal Nerve Radio-Frequency Ablation.
Mr Knight trained in London and is an internationally acknowledged leader in Endoscopic Aware State Minimal Invasive Lumbar Spine Surgery (EMISS). Mr Knight has experience with Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence claims for both Defendant and Claimant with the focus on unbiased assessment for the court. He brings to these reports a unique experience of aware state endoscopic surgery wherein the patient or client provides realtime feedback on what hurts and where that originates.
